Dear Student Driver;

Welcome to driversedcompany.com/studentdriver.

My name is Tim Hillerby – Morgan.

I am the chief instructor of the Drivers Ed’ Company Driving School.  I am a UK government approved driving instructor.  During my career I have driven for the police and the Customs service

I specialise in student drivers and helping American drivers obtain the British Driving Licence.

Some two years ago, a former client of The Drivers Ed Company Driving School returned to America.  We had taken her through her UK driving Test.  The UK only accepts the driving licenses of two or three states.  The remaining states driving tests do not meet the minimum difficulty set down in British law.

This lady was a very good driver, and had gone on to achieve an advanced driver award.

Late last year I received an email from our former client.  Her son had just past his Idaho driving test.  She was appalled at this.  She felt her son was not safe to be on the road.  She was right.   Three days later, he was dead.  He failed to stop at a stop sign.  The large rig that hit his car had no chance to stop.

This made me want to find out more about driver training in America.  I spent the last year researching driver training in America.

The problem is not the drivers Ed.  It is the poor standard of in car training and the lack of driving practice.

I was pleased to find that the Driver Ed’ Programs are far better than any in the UK.  The problem comes in converting the drivers Ed into driving skills.  The standard of in car driver training in America was appalling.

Some instructors were boasting that it only took three hours to get ready for a full license.  Others were offering dangerous advice.   One state DMV recommended a way of steering whilst on a hand held mobile phone.

I have distilled all my experience and research into this book, and the e-mail mini course.  The book and course concentrate on the art of driving the car.  It takes your Drivers Ed and applies it to the driving.   The knowledge that this book contains would take around 10 hours of training with a skilled and experienced instructor.

‘The Student Drivers Manual’ is packed with advice on controlling the car and handling driving hazards.   It will help make the roads of America little safer.

My goal, as a professional driving instructor, is to see that you become a safe and skilled driver.  I would like to share my knowledge with you, free of charge.

$1 from every book sold will be give to a road safety charity chosen by people using this site.
